CONTINUING STUDENT ARTS EDUCATION! The Jack Page Project of the EMMA Concert Association recently provided funding for dance barres at Flagler College. The barres were used for student dance instruction this summer, and will be enjoyed by a much larger group of students this fall during theatre and dance classes.
The Jack Page Project provides support for music education in our local community. Over the years, funds have been donated to music and arts programs at St. Augustine High School, RJ Murray Middle School, Gamble Rogers Middle School, Webster Elementary School, and other St. Johns County schools. The project was initiated by EMMA in 2008 and named after Jack Page, an active local musician who was dedicated to promoting music among young people. Page passed away in 2017, but his legacy continues through this project.
